nava śata-ghaṭa jala kaila upanīta
nānā vādya-bherī bāje, strī-gaṇa gāya gīta

Synonyms

nava—nine; sata-ghata—hundreds of waterpots; jala—water; kaila—made; upanīta—brought; nānā—various; vādya—musical sounds; bherī—bugles; bāje—vibrate; strī-gana—all the women; gaya—chant; gita—various songs. 

Translation

When the Deity was being installed, nine hundred pots of water were brought from Govinda-kuṇḍa. There were musical sounds of bugles and drums and the singing of women.
