ataeva yāhāṅ yāhāṅ dei adhikāra
khāya, piye, luṭe, vilāya, nā karoṅ vicāra
Synonyms
ataeva—therefore; yahan yahan—wherever; dei adhikara—I appoint them; khaya—they eat; piye—drink; luṭe—plunder; vilaya—distribute; na karoṅ vicara—I do not consider. ¶
Translation
“Therefore I have appointed them collectors in various places, and although they spend the government’s money, eat, drink, plunder and distribute it as they like, I do not take them very seriously. ¶
