vacobhiḥ paruṣair indram
ardayanto ‘sya marmasu
śarair avākiran meghā
dhārābhir iva parvatam

Translation
Rebuking Indra with harsh, cruel words that were piercing to the heart, these demons showered him with arrows, just as torrents of rain wash a great mountain. ¶ comment
