# The glories of Vṛndāvana > [!summary] > *Vṛndāvana is the eternal abode of Lord Kṛṣṇa, where He performs His transcendental pastimes with the gopīs, cowherd boys, and all the residents of Vraja. This holy dhāma is non-different from Kṛṣṇa Himself—whoever lives there or visits with devotion attains the highest perfection of life.
