*On the teachings and mission of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu*

### Introduced from Scripture
> So our process is like that, that we are following a great personality, Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. He introduced... He introduced from the scripture, not in His own way. Nothing should be accepted which is not recognized. You see? So this is recognized method.

### Distributed the Kīrtana Movement
> He left home at the age of 24 years only and just young boy and His wife was not more than 16 years old. And His mother was about 75 years old, but He did not care. He took sannyāsa and all over India He distributed this kīrtana movement. Since then every part of India they are chanting this: Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare.

### Teaching How to Serve Kṛṣṇa
> And He comes again as devotee, as Lord Caitanya, He's teaching how to serve Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa is teaching how to serve Kṛṣṇa. So both of Them are asking... Caitanya Mahāprabhu is also asking, āmāra ājñāya guru hañā tāra' ei deśa yāre dekha tāre kaha 'kṛṣṇa'-upadeśa.

### Softer Than Flower, Harder Than Thunderbolt
> Caitanya Mahāprabhu was very soft, kusumād api, softer than the flower, but harder than the thunderbolt. When He used to be very hard, then, then He become thunderbolt. Nobody can induce Him. But naturally, He is very soft-hearted.

### Eternal Servant Philosophy
> This is Caitanya Mahāprabhu's philosophy that eternal servant. Either you accept or not accept, you are servant. You are never equal or greater than God. So this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement is for that purpose, that people should be taught that "You are eternal servant of God."

### Instruction to Preach
> Caitanya Mahāprabhu says, "You surrender unto Kṛṣṇa." So if we follow both the Kṛṣṇas, that is the best service. You simply go... Yāre dekha tāre kaha kṛṣṇa-upadeśa. Simply preach this Bhagavad-gītā, instruction of Bhagavad-gītā as it is, without any nonsense commentary.
— [[spoken/1972/721017sb.vrn|Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 1.2.6, Vṛndāvana, 1972]]
---
### Unconditional Love
> Caitanya Mahāprabhu says that "It doesn't matter. Whether I see Kṛṣṇa or not, it doesn't matter. He may not be present before me for millions of years and make me brokenhearted." If I aspire to see Kṛṣṇa, and Kṛṣṇa does not come, naturally I become sorry, brokenhearted. But even one is brokenhearted, still, he should not stop devotional service.

### Not Like Gaurāṅga-nāgarīs
> Kṛṣṇa has appeared now as devotee. So you must help Him how He can become a best devotee. Not that pose Him into Kṛṣṇa position. When Caitanya Mahāprabhu came in Vṛndāvana, so many people called Him, "You are Kṛṣṇa. You are Viṣṇu." He was doing this, "Don't say like this. Don't say like this," to warn future generation.

### Kṛṣṇa's Mercy
> Etādṛśī tava kṛpā bhagavān mamāpi durdaivam: "But I am so unfortunate that You have become so easily available in this age, but I am so unfortunate, I cannot accept it." So the Kṛṣṇa consciousness so easily being distributed, but they are so unfortunate, they cannot accept.

### Making Plans for Preaching
> Just like Lord Caitanya. He made so many plans to give this transcendental message to the people. Yatantaś ca means just like the politicians they make plan how to execute successfully his mission he has got a plan. Similarly, the great souls who come to glorify the Lord who come to reclaim the conditioned souls. They are also engaged yatantaś ca, they are trying making plan how people will accept it.
