He is the spiritual master of many exalted personalities including Prahlāda Mahārāja, Dhruva Mahārāja, and Vyāsadeva. Through his constant chanting and preaching, Nārada has transformed countless souls, including the hunter who became his famous disciple. He carries the vīṇā, a stringed instrument, with which he constantly glorifies the Lord.
