# Maitreya Muni the narrator
*Maitreya Muni was a great sage who narrated much of the Third and Fourth Cantos of Srimad-Bhagavatam to Vidura. He received transcendental knowledge from Uddhava and served as Vidura's spiritual master, enlightening him on the science of God.*
