# Haridāsa Ṭhākura > [!summary] > *Haridāsa Ṭhākura is the nāmācārya—the teacher of the holy name—who demonstrated the power of chanting by completing 300,000 names of Kṛṣṇa daily without fail. Though born in a Muslim family, he became the greatest devotee and was honored by Lord Caitanya as an incarnation of Brahmā. His tolerance when beaten in twenty-two marketplaces was compared to that of Prahlāda Mahārāja.
