# Gaura-kiśora dāsa Bābājī > [!summary] > *Gaura-kiśora dāsa Bābājī Mahārāja (1838-1915) was the spiritual master of Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura and a paramahaṁsa of the highest order. Despite appearing mad to materialistic eyes, he was deeply absorbed in love of God.
