# Service to the Lord *Service (seva) is the constitutional position of the living entity. As parts of the Supreme Lord, all souls are meant to serve Him, just as the hand naturally serves the body. This service is not servitude but the highest freedom and fulfillment. Unlike material service which brings fatigue and exploitation, devotional service to Krishna is ever-fresh and brings eternal bliss. One can serve the Lord through any activity — whether working, offering prayers, worshiping the Deity, or simply remembering Him — when done with love and devotion.* ## The Soul's Constitutional Position !sb/1/2/6 !sb/3/29/13 ## All Activities Can Become Service !bg/9/27 !sb/4/29/42-44 ## Purifies the Consciousness !sb/1/2/17 !sb/3/27/21 ## Brings Transcendental Pleasure !sb/1/2/19 !sb/4/9/17 ## Serving Without Expectation !sb/3/29/11 !sb/3/29/12 ## Rendered Through the Spiritual Master !sb/4/22/19 !sb/4/31/28 ## From the Index - Devotional Service — Seva to Krishna - Activities — In service to Lord - Work — As offering to Krishna
