# Kardama Muni the mystic yogi
*Kardama Muni was a powerful yogi and son of Lord Brahma who performed severe austerities on the bank of the Sarasvati River. He married Devahuti and became the father of Lord Kapila, the founder of Sankhya philosophy. After fulfilling his household duties, he took sannyasa and attained perfection.*
