**Prabhupāda:** > ...pārtha > yogaṁ yuñjan mad-āśrayaḥ > asaṁśayaṁ samagraṁ māṁ > yathā jñāsyasi tac chṛṇu > [[bg/7/1|[Bg. 7.1] ]]
So Kṛṣṇa is advising simply by increasing your attachment for Kṛṣṇa, simply always being absorbed in the thought of Kṛṣṇa, we can be eligible to understand the whole knowledge, complete knowledge, without any doubt. By our mental speculation we acquire knowledge, but there are so many doubts. So many doubts.
In the Ninth Chapter also, in the *Bhagavad-gītā,* it is said, *pratyakṣa avagamaṁ dharmyam* [[bg/9/2|[Bg. 9.2] ]]. *Pratyakṣa.* Kṛṣṇa consciousness knowledge is so perfect that *pratyakṣa avagamam,* you can directly perceive how far you are making progress. You don't require to take certificate from others, whether you are progressing or not. You'll understand yourself.

I offer my respects to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, by whose desire I have become like a dancing dog and, although I am a fool, I have suddenly taken to the writing of Śrī-Caitanya-caritāmṛta.
Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu, who is known as Gaurasundara. I also offer my respectful obeisances unto Nityānanda Prabhu, who is always very joyful.
Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto Advaita Ācārya, who is very merciful, and also to that great personality Gadādhara Paṇḍita, the learned scholar.

**Prabhupāda:** They... The people are becoming gradually demon. So they will try in their own ways, so many ways, to banish God, to kill God, to become godless. Our business is to revive God consciousness—the whole world.
**Prabhupāda:** So let them try in their own way; we must try in our own way. So long the slogan is there, we must take advantage of it.
**Rūpānuga:** And the older people just have no reason to go on. Plus, in three years is the 200th anniversary.

**Nitāi:** *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.* *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.* *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.* [**Prabhupāda and **devotees repeat] [leads chanting of verse, etc.]
"Knowledge is the ultimate perfection of self-realization. I shall explain that knowledge unto you by which the knots of attachment to the material world are cut."

**Prabhupāda:** Who is giving the tree food? Huh?* [Transl. Tell me, who is supplying food to this tree? So stout and strong. Since it has got life, it must be eating. So who is supplying it food? And such big stout and strong. And not one, hundreds of millions of them. Hmm?] Stout and strong. What is the answer? Who gives them food?
**Prabhupāda:** But these rascals, they cannot understand. They are making economic development. They have no program for economic development. How they're eating?
**Prabhupāda:** [laughing] In your country nobody likes white; they have begun to tan. So you are not good shape in consideration of ladies. [chuckling] How you can say that it is not in good shape? It has got another lady to appreciate. You may not appreciate. One man..., lady, may not appreciate your beauty, but that does not mean you are not beautiful.

**Bhāgavata:** ...explaining to them the glories of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and pure devotional service so that they may go back to home, back to Godhead, and become liberated from the realms of birth and death in this material world.
**Bhāgavata:** We have to find the ways and the means by which we can make pure devotional service attractive to each living entity according to his particular...
**Prabhupāda:** Unless one feels necessity, why they will accept your proposal, "Chant Hare Kṛṣṇa"? How you'll make them feeling, "Yes, it is necessary"? That is wanted. Otherwise, anyone will say, some proposition, "You do this." Then why they will accept it?

**Prabhupāda:** So we were discussing yesterday about the demons, or nondevotees. Demons means nondevotee. That I have explained. *Devatā* means demigods, and demons. So demons, they do not know which way they have to live their life. That they do not know.
These are the first qualification of the demons, that they do not know which way one has to make progress. That they do not know. This is the defect of the modern civilization. They have universities, educational institution and advancement of knowledge, so on, so on. But ask them what is the aim of life, why education is being imparted, what is the purpose. These are... They do not know. Do they know?
