**Prabhupāda:** > vāsāṁsi jīrṇāni yathā vihāya > navāni gṛhṇāti naro 'parāṇi > tathā śarīrāṇi vihāya jīrṇāny > anyāni saṁyāti navāni dehī > [[bg/2/22|[Bg. 2.22] ]]
So this verse we discussed last morning, that this body is just like dress. This is not our real identification. I am thinking, "I am American," "I am Indian," "I am African," "I am Russian," "I am *brāhmaṇa,*" "I am *kṣatriya,*" "I am *śūdra,*" "I am Andhra-pradesh," "I am Bengali."
These are all nonsense. But on this nonsense idea the whole world is going on. So how there can be real knowledge? The basic principle of knowledge is ignorance. *Andha.* The man who is leading, he is blind. So how he can lead? This is the position.

**Prabhupāda:** > sa vai puṁsām paro dharmo > yato bhaktir adhokṣaje > ahaituky apratihatā > yayātmā suprasīdati > [[sb/1/2/6|[SB. 1.2.6] ]]
Everyone is hankering after peace of mind. *Ātmā suprasa*. *Ātma*, *ātma* means this body, *ātma* means the mind and *ātma* means the soul. We are in three status of life. Actually, we are the spirit soul covered by two kinds of dresses. Just like you gentlemen, you are also covered by two kinds of dresses—underwear and coat, shirt and coat. Similarly... Actually, "I am" means I am not this shirt and coat; I am within the shirt and coat. Similarly, I, the soul, I am covered by two kinds of layers—mind, intelligence and false ego. False ego means I am considering I am this American dress, I am this Indian dress, because I am identifying with this body. If I ask somebody, "What you are, sir?" "I am American." "What you are, sir?" "I am Indian," "I am *brāhmaṇa,*" "I am *kṣatriya.*"

**Nitāi:** "Thus consciously engaged in devotional service in the association of devotees, a person gains distaste for sense gratification, both in this world and in the next, by constantly thinking about the activities of the Lord. This process of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is the easiest process of mystic power. When one is actually situated on that path of devotional service, he is able to control the mind."
**Prabhupāda:** > bhaktyā pumāñ jāta-virāga aindriyād > dṛṣṭa-śrutān mad-racanānucintayā > cittasya yatto grahaṇe yoga-yukto > yatiṣyate ṛjubhir yoga-mārgaiḥ > [[sb/3/25/26|[SB. 3.25.26] ]]
So the whole process of understanding the Absolute Truth... Absolute Truth means the Supreme Person, the Supreme Being, Absolute. There is no contradictory. Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa's name, Kṛṣṇa's form, Kṛṣṇa's activities, Kṛṣṇa's paraphernalia, Kṛṣṇa's attributes—everything Kṛṣṇa. That is called Absolute Truth. There is no difference. Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa's form is not different. Kṛṣṇa's hand and Kṛṣṇa's leg, not different. Just like we have got difference: this left hand is different from the right hand; the nose is different from the ear. We have got. Because this is called *sagata-vigata-vibheda[?].* Kṛṣṇa hasn't got that thing. That is called absolute. It is stated in the *Brahma-saṁhitā, aṅgāni yasya sakalendriya-vṛttimanti. Aṅgāni,* we have got different parts of the body, limbs, for different purposes. But Kṛṣṇa can serve any purpose from any limbs of His body. Kṛṣṇa can eat by seeing only. Kṛṣṇa can go by thinking only. There are so many description that Kṛṣṇa is absolute. So these contradictory things, how one can understand of the Absolute? He is absolute, *advaya-jñāna.* Absolute means no duality; everything is one.

**Akṣayānanda:** Science, social science... Research. Research means they don't know. Just like Bon Mahārāja. Research.
**Prabhupāda:** If one is fool, where is the question of searching out? If he has got the right knowledge, why there should be searching? Searching means he is not in knowledge. [break]
**Prabhupāda:** "Maybe" means rascal. As soon as you say "maybe," you are a rascal. Immediate. There is no other argument. As soon as you say "maybe," that means you are a rascal.

**Pradyumna:** *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. *[devotees repeat] [leads chanting of verse, etc.]
**Translation:** "An unchaste woman is very easily carried away by paramours, and it sometimes happens that her husband is violently killed by her paramours. If the *yogī* gives his mind a chance and does not restrain it, his mind will give facility to enemies like lust, anger and greed, and they will doubtlessly kill the *yogī.*"* [break]*
