**Prabhupāda:** > cintāmaṇi-prakara-sadmasu kalpa-vṛkṣa- > lakṣāvṛteṣu surabhīr abhipālayantam > lakṣmī-sahasra-śata-sambhrama-sevyamānaṁ > govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi > [Bs. 5.29]
Govinda, the Lord. *Go* means the cow, and *go* means the senses and *go* means the land. So Kṛṣṇa, the reservoir of all pleasure, especially gives pleasure to the senses. *Govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi.* So our senses are there. You cannot stop the activities of the senses. *Yoga indriya saṁyama*. The purpose of *yoga* is to control the senses by observing the regulative principle, *yama-niyama*, then practicing a particular type of sitting posture. It is somehow or other mechanical, because those who are grossly in the concept of body, they are recommended to practice this *haṭha-yoga* so that by this process his mind can be concentrated on Kṛṣṇa. *Yoga indriya saṁyama*.
So actually our *indriyas* can be controlled when they are engaged in the service of the Lord. *Hṛṣīkeṇa hṛṣīkeśa-sevanaṁ* [[cc/madhya/19/170|[Cc. Madhya 19.170] ]]. Otherwise it is not possible to control the senses. You cannot stop the activities of senses. That is not possible. Because we are living entity, we have our senses, and it must act. In the *Bhagavad-gītā* it is said that you cannot stop the action of the mind even for a moment. And mind is the central point of our sensuous activities. Therefore, if you want to control the senses, then you have to learn this *bhāgavata-dharma*.

**Nitāi:** "Every learned man knows very well that attachment for the material is the greatest entanglement of the spirit soul. But the same attachment, when applied to the self-realized devotees, opens the door of liberation."
**Prabhupāda:** > prasaṅgam ajaraṁ pāśam > ātmanaḥ kavayo viduḥ > sa eva sādhuṣu kṛto > mokṣa-dvāram apāvṛtam > [[sb/3/25/20|[SB. 3.25.20] ]]
This is the definition of our Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. Consciousness is there. Living being means there must be consciousness. The consciousness... [sound of child in background] [pause]

**Dr. Patel:** I charge, by night, hundred rupees, and day, sixty, fifty, sixty rupees, not much. I don't charge much here. Bombay people charge double than me. You mean you want to charge me? [laughter]
**Prabhupāda:** No, no. Hare Kṛṣṇa. [laughter] No, I mean to say, you are a professional man, you charge, but why do you come here free unless you have in mind?
**Dr. Patel:** I don't understand why I am attracted to you specially. I don't understand. I very much thinking..., I have been thinking about it. There must be some *pūrva-janma.* We may be relatives. I don't know. No *sādhu* has been able to attract me as much as you have. Not even temples have attracted me, to tell the truth.

**Prabhupāda:** ...*kutaḥ punar āgamanam*. [Sage Cārvāka] Who is coming back again, the body is destroyed, that's all. Finished.
**Prabhupāda:** Yes. Yes, if the brain is clear—it is not filled up with rubbish cow dung—then Kṛṣṇa consciousness easy. Yes. Kṛṣṇa consciousness means there is no more material consciousness. *Sarvopādhi-vinirmuktam* [[cc/madhya/19/170|[Cc. Madhya 19.170] ]]. Anyābhilāṣitā-śūnyam* [Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu*1.1.11]. That is required. And material existence we have got so many ambitions, thoughts, obligations—so many things. *Bṛthā.*

**Pradyumna:** *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. *[devotees repeat] [leads chanting of verse, etc.]
**Translation:** "Because Lord Ṛṣabhadeva remained in that condition, the public did not disturb Him. But no bad aroma emanated from His stool and urine. Quite the contrary, His stool and urine were so aromatic that they filled eighty miles of the countryside with a pleasant fragrance."
