**Dayānanda:** Prabhupāda? That was the realtor on the phone. He said he'll have the lease ready Monday.
This Kṛṣṇa consciousness is simply full of bliss. Nobody should become morose. If he's feeling morose, then it is lack of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. This is the sign.

**Haṁsadūta:** When do they want us? If we leave... The day we leave here, we can go there? Sixteenth or seventeenth?
**Prabhupāda:** No, we are leaving on the seventeenth, so we can get that place on the eighteenth and live there for three, four days, if they'll provide a good bungalow. And they have promised. So this is the position. Now you can consider.
**Devotee:** In order that you should leave by the eighteenth, actually we have to go by plane. And so the plane reservation has already been made, and [indistinct].

**Prabhupāda:** > kāmasya nendriya-prītir > lābho jīveta yāvatā > jīvasya tattva-jijñāsā > nārtho yaś ceha karmabhiḥ > [[sb/1/2/10|[SB. 1.2.10] ]]
So, yesterday one gentleman asked me to speak in Hindi for five minutes. Not just five minutes, today I will speak only in Hindi. But I have not much practice to do so. By birth also I am Bengali, still I am able to manage speaking in Hindi somehow. So, please all of you try to understand, not of course by language's point of view but by the essence of discussion—*bhāva-grāhī janārdana*, the Supreme Godhead also is not simply satisfied by merely any language, *bhāva-grāhī janārdana*.
So, in the *Śrīmad Bhāgavatam* Sūta Goswāmi is saying, that this sense gratification, we have the senses and therefore, they need satisfaction, we don't recommend completely dying the senses out. Please forgive me for I may speak a few English words here and there. So, *kāmasya nendriya-prītiḥ*, but we need to keep the senses in restraint, because this is the business of human life, sense control. This is what makes them different from the animals. This is the only difference between a human and animals, the dogs may practice sex life on the streets, they cannot control their senses and there is no use of correcting them either, because it is an animal. But if a human being practices illicit sex in the street, then he will be immediately arrested and punished. That is the law. And why? Because he is a human being and the dog is an animal, all the laws are meant for the human beings. All the scriptures and education is meant for the human beings and not for the animals.

**Nitāi:** *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.* *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.* *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.* [**Prabhupāda and **devotees repeat] [leads chanting of verse, etc.]
"The stage in which the consciousness of the living entity is attracted by the three modes of material nature is called conditional life. But when that same consciousness is attached to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, one is situated in the consciousness of liberation."

**Gopāla Kṛṣṇa:** That new *gurukula* picture that they had sent you in Illinois, near Chicago? They have taken that.
**Gopāla Kṛṣṇa:** They are going to pay 150,000 in January. It looks perfect for *gurukula.* It's very big and...
**Brahmānanda:** Oh, there's about nine buildings. There's a main administration building and classroom building. There is two new buildings. One is a dining hall that seats two hundred.

**Prabhupāda:** ...punishment, Kali-yuga. But this is proper punishment. Because the public also, they're not anxious to become God conscious.
**Prabhupāda:** So they must be punished, with such rogues and thieves. That is stated in the *Bhāgavatam.* It is nature's punishment. [end]

**Yaśodānandana:** > evam anuśāsyātmajān svayam anuśiṣṭān api lokānuśāsanārthaṁ mahānubhāvaḥ parama-suhṛd bhagavān ṛṣabhāpadeśa upaśama-śīlānām uparata-karmaṇāṁ mahā-munīnāṁ bhakti-jñāna-vairāgya-lakṣaṇaṁ pāramahaṁsya-dharmam upaśikṣamāṇaḥ sva-tanaya-śata-jyeṣṭhaṁ parama-bhāgavataṁ bhagavaj-jana-parāyaṇaṁ bharataṁ dharaṇi-pālanāyābhiṣicya svayaṁ bhavana evorvarita-śarīra-mātra-parigraha unmatta iva gagana-paridhānaḥ prakīrṇa-keśa ātmany āropitāhavanīyo brahmāvartāt pravavrāja. > [[sb/5/5/28|[SB. 5.5.28] ]]
**Pradyumna:Translation:** "Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Thus the great well-wisher of everyone, the Supreme Lord, Ṛṣabhadeva, instructed His own sons. Although they were perfectly educated and cultured, He instructed them just to set an example of how a father should instruct his sons before retiring from family life. *Sannyāsīs,* who are no longer bound by fruitive activity and who have taken to devotional service after all their material desires have been vanquished, also learn by these instructions. Lord Ṛṣabhadeva instructed His one hundred sons, of whom the eldest, Bharata, was a very advanced devotee and a follower of Vaiṣṇavas. In order to rule the whole world, the Lord enthroned His eldest son on the royal seat. Thereafter, although still at home, Lord Ṛṣabhadeva lived like a madman, naked and with disheveled hair. Then the Lord took the sacrificial fire within Himself, and He left Brahmavarta to tour the whole world." [break]
