**Prabhupāda:** > ...tasmād ahaṁ vigata-viklava īśvarasya > sarvātmanā mahi gṛṇāmi yathā manīṣam > [[sb/7/9/12|[SB. 7.9.12] ]]
Prahlāda Mahārāja is submitting that "I do not require to be highly elevated to offer my prayers to the Supreme Personality of Godhead." Nobody requires any material acquisition to approach God. We have been discussing this point for the last few days. Simply *bhaktyā tutoṣa gaja-yūtha-pāya* [[sb/7/9/9|[SB. 7.9.9] ]]. Even an elephant or any other animal can also satisfy the Lord. How? *Bhaktyā,* simply by feelings of love, that's all. So Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura, he is offering his prayers to the Lord, *haha prabhu nanda-suta, vṛṣabhānu-sutā-yuta* [*Iṣṭa-deve Vijñapti *4]:
"My dear Lord, the son of King Nanda..." Kṛṣṇa's foster father's name was Nanda Mahārāja. So He is very much pleased when He is addressed as "the son of Nanda."

**Pradyumna:Purport:** "In the two previous *ślokas* it has been definitely proved that the *Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam* is the sublime literature which surpasses all other Vedic scriptures due to its transcendental qualities. It is transcendental to all mundane activities and mundane knowledge.
In this *śloka* it is stated that *Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam* is not only a superior literature but that it is the ripened fruit of all Vedic literature. In other words, it is the cream of all Vedic knowledge. Considering all this, patient...
[break] ...one should receive the message and lessons imparted by the *Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.* The *Vedas* are compared to the desire tree because they contain all things knowable by man. They deal with mundane necessities as well as spiritual realization."

**[*Govindam* prayers playing] [Prabhup**ā**da sings along] Devotees:** All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
**Devotees:** All glories to Śrī Guru and Gauranga. **[devotees offer obeisances] Prabhupāda: Hmm. [indistinct] [hums]Pradyumna: *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya.* *[leads chanting of verse]* [**Prabhupāda and **devotees repeat]

**Pradyumna:Translation:** "O son of Kuntī, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed." [[bg/2/14|[Bg. 2.14] ]]
**Prabhupāda:** This is very important verse. In the previous verse it has been described, *dehino 'smin yathā dehe* [[bg/2/13|[Bg. 2.13] ]]. Actually, we living entities, we are within the body. The bodily pains and pleasure are not the pains and pleasure of the soul within. It is simply *abhiniveśa.* It is called *abhiniveśa,* absorption or misidentify. The example I have given many times, just like you are sitting in a nice motorcar; another man is sitting on a rickshaw. I have seen in India.
So the rickshaw has come in front of the nice motorcar, and the driver is asking that man who is drawing the rickshaw, "You rickshaw!" Means he is thinking he is sitting in a nice motorcar, so he has become a motor, and the man who is drawing the rickshaw, he has become rickshaw. This is the position. Actually, the man who is drawing that rickshaw, he is also human being.

**Gopāla Kṛṣṇa:** Yes. Now because this Usha Printers is much bigger also, and we're getting better quality.
**Saurabha:** The festival was a very great success. We counted approximately, for the last two days, twenty thousand people must have come.
**Gopāla Kṛṣṇa: No, no. I mean...Prabhupāda:** Here you take the information. Why did you believe the boy?
