**Prabhupāda:** My dear boys and girls, I thank you very much for attending this meeting. We are spreading this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement because there is a great need of this movement through the whole world. And the process is very easy. That is the advantage.
First of all, try to understand what is the transcendental platform. So far our living condition is concerned, we are in different platforms. So we have to first of all stand on the transcendental platform. Then there is question of transcendental meditation.
In the *Bhagavad-gītā,* in the Third Chapter, you'll find that we have got different status of conditional life. The first is *indriyāṇi parāṇy āhur* [[bg/3/42|[Bg. 3.42] ]]. Sanskrit, *indriyāṇi.* First thing is bodily conception of life. Every one of us in this material world, we are under this bodily concept of life. I am thinking Indian, "I am Indian." You are thinking you are American. Somebody's thinking, "I am Russian." Somebody's thinking, "I am somebody else." So everyone is thinking that "I am this body."

**Prabhupāda:** ...things of value, they're disappearing. Just like formerly people used to have some dishes of valuable metals. Now it is plastic. This is the advancement.
**Prabhupāda:** Rascals, they are thinking it is advancement. And if he goes to sell the plastic plates, nobody will pay even cent. But one of those metal plate, if he's in difficulty, he can get some money. This is scientific advancement. Instead of gold coins, now there is papers: "I trust in God. We trust in God." Cheating, "We trust in God." Take hundred dollars. And what is the hundred dollars? The paper. "We trust in God." By the name of God, I give you. And it is scientific. That's all.
**Prabhupāda:** Yes, convenience means going to hell. That's all. It is very convenient to go to hell. [*japa*] Everything synthetic. Huh? Cotton is disappearing.

**Prabhupāda:** ...therefore he very intelligently appointed Kṛṣṇa as his spiritual master. Because everyone is in perplexity about the problem of life. So this very thing happened to Arjuna, and he wanted to go to spiritual master for solution. And the supreme spiritual master was present before him; therefore he submitted: *śiṣyas te 'haṁ śādhi māṁ prapannam* [[bg/2/7|[Bg. 2.7] ]]. Kārpaṇya-doṣopahata-svabhāvaḥ...*
**Prabhupāda:** *Yac chreyaḥ syāt..., yac chreyaḥ syāt tat brūhi me niścitam.* So the spiritual master's duty is how to benefit the disciple, *śreyaḥ.* What is the translation?
**Puṣṭa Kṛṣṇa:** "Now I am confused about my duty and have lost all composure because of weakness. In this condition I am asking You to tell me clearly what is best for me."

**Prabhupāda:** Women should be taken care of—as daughter, as wife, as mother. *Bās.* No freedom. Then prostitution. Then spoil the whole thing. Unwanted children, contraceptive, abortion. Very dangerous. In our society there are girls. They should live separately. They should be given full engagement, taken care of. No mixing. Then it will be spoiled. Both of them will be... We see big, big workers, *sannyāsīs.* Madhudvisafell victim. The example is given: fire and butter. [laughs] You cannot say that the butter will not melt even in fire. Woman is like fire, and man is like butter.
**Prabhupāda:** Yes. In a cool refrigerator, cool-headed. As soon as come in contact with the fire, agitate. The example is given. In Indian... Up to our time, restriction was very strict. Now it is slackened.
**Tamāla Kṛṣṇa:** In American universities they have co-living. The bathrooms are the same bathroom now. They don't even have men's bathroom and women's toilet.

**Agnihotram Rāmānuja Tattvācārya:** Till now I saw only in the papers, newspapers and magazines and pamphlets and books. I am so fortunate to take *darśana* directly with you.
**Agnihotram Rāmānuja Tattvācārya:** As Patita-pāvana dāsa told me... I informed him, I am a student of religion and also working for religion. Single-hand, I made attempt to propagate Vedic culture and Vedic religion for the past forty years. I am not able to find out any help. But fortunately, when I informed about Your Holiness and saw in newspapers also, I have found you are the incarnation of Indian gods,* [Prabhupāda chuckles] from my point of view. Because the mission which is not fulfilled by other *ācāryas,* even Swami Vivekananda, so many. I know... I studied all Biography of prophets. But it is only fulfilled by Your Holiness.
**Agnihotram Rāmānuja Tattvācārya:** Because we must place our ideas before the people on the way of science without sacrificing tradition. It is also applicable to our minds. So all things are accumulated in Your Holiness, thoughts and...
