This evening I shall recite some verses from *Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam*, Fifth Canto, Fifth Chapter, on the instruction of Ṛṣabhadeva. Ṛṣabhadeva was the father of King Bharata, after whose name this tract of land is called Bhārata-varṣa. So Ṛṣabhadeva, before retiring from family life, He had one hundred sons, and He instructed them about spiritual realization of life.
This Bhārata-varṣa, land of Bhārata-varṣa, it is meant for spiritual realization. And Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, His mission is to distribute the message of Bhārata-varṣa throughout the whole world. He said—it is recorded in a Bengali stanza,

**Akṣayānanda:** One boy I recommended for second initiation, but during the fire ceremony he was away on traveling *saṅkīrtana* for Vṛndāvana. Will he be able to take initiation from you and have the ceremony later, before you go?
**Yaśodānandana:** Prabhupāda, there has been discussion amongst many of the members of the Press and the Sanskrit editors regarding the actual place of Nṛsiṁha's pastimes. So I told them that on the occasion of our travel to South India we visited this place Ahobilam, and the *paṇḍitas,* they have scriptural reference from the *Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa* and the *Nṛsiṁha Purāṇa* that the place is actually mentioned there, and it has been recognized by Rāmānujācārya and many of the great Ālwār saints. And yourself have already told me twice personally that this was the actual place where it happened. And on top of the mountain there, there is the pillar, iron pillar, which is the symbol of the spot where Lord Nṛsiṁha killed Hiraṇyakaśipu. So for the benefit of all of these devotees, they were just requesting your actual confirmation.
**Prabhupāda:** Confirmation or no confirmation, Nṛsiṁhadeva is our worshipable Deity, that's all. Why you are bothering where He killed Hiraṇyakaśipu? You worship Him, that's all.

Anantarām Śāstrījī: *Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. Oṁ namo bhagavate vāsudevāya. *[**Prabhupāda and **devotees repeat] *Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam*, 7.9.55 [chants verse] [Prabhupāda and devotees respond] [break] > evaṁ pralobhyamāno 'pi > varair loka-pralobhanaiḥ > ekāntitvād bhagavati > naicchat tān asurottamaḥ > [SB 7.9.55]
**Puṣṭa Kṛṣṇa:** **Translation: "Prahlāda Mahārāja was the best person in the family of demons. Demons always aspire for material happiness, yet even though Prahlāda was somewhat allured when the Supreme Personality of Godhead offered him benedictions for material happiness, because of his unalloyed Kṛṣṇa consciousness he did not want to take any material benefit for sense enjoyment."
**Prabhupāda:** > evaṁ pralobhyamāno 'pi > varair loka-pralobhanaiḥ > ekāntitvād bhagavati > naicchat tān asurottamaḥ > [SB 7.9.55]

**Prabhupāda:** ...always studying, for the last ten years. It is my conclusion that originally everything Indian, that is very, very high grade—for human society, for personal. That is actual human civilization. Everything—hygienic principles, Vedic knowledge, moral knowledge—everything perfect.
**Tamāla Kṛṣṇa:** [noise of children] I'm going to tell them to... [break] Just going to take rest now.
**Prabhupāda:** Hmm. Otherwise it will increase. In your sickness, if you go on working, it will increase. Better take rest.

**Bhakti-cāru:** "As the nation observes this week the death anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar, it behooves our news research to face a challenge 'for the plight of this downtrodden community.' "
[break] "The story of the vast quantity of *harijanas* in this ancient and illustrious land is a miserable story of shame and sorrow. Harassment and humiliation, oppression and separation, poverty and pity. The *harijana* problems is not merely a social or religious or economic or political one. It is a complex problem involving many factors. It is, however, the most baffling national problem, posing a great challenge to the leaders, rulers and people of India."
**Prabhupāda:** On the whole—you read this article—why not say that "We can lead you to the highest perfection of cultural, social, religion"? It will be...
