So one of the chief disciple of Prakāśānanda Sarasvatī, he very much appreciated Caitanya Mahāprabhu's presentation of *Vedānta-sūtra* and excellent presentation of *harer nāma harer nāma harer nāma eva kevalam* [*Cc Ādi* 7.76] That "In this age there is no other alternative for self-realization than chanting this Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare / Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare," *harer nāma,* the holy name of God. So considering the fallen age at the present moment, God is so merciful and kind that He presents Himself as sound, sound vibration, which everyone can produce by his tongue and can hear, and God is present there.

**Devotee:** [*kirtana*] Evening, January 21st, Jaipur.Prabhupāda: > sa vai puṁsāṁ paro dharmo > yato bhaktir adhokṣaje > ahaituky apratihatā > yayātmā suprasīdati
Everyone wishes for themselves to remain filled with happiness. So, the means to attain that spiritual happiness is devotional service, *sa vai puṁsāṁ paro dharmo*. In this material world the human beings are trying in so many ways to make themselves joyful but the scriptures are giving injunction: anyone wishes to become a joyful soul then he should practice *paro dharma*. Sridhar Swami says that *yato dharmat krsne srvanadar adi laksana titi bhavati sa paro dharmah*. By performing Kṛṣṇa *kirtana*:

**Prabhupāda:** [*japa*] ..sinful activities, fishing. Just see. Killing another animal, beginning of life, of the day. Such a nice civilization they have created: waste of time and sinful activities.
**Prabhupāda:** Yes. [break] *...śuddhyed.* Life is meant for purifying the existence. They do not know it. Rascal education, no education—still, they are Nobel Prize winner. Just see the kind. *Mūḍha.* So how many books distributed? Who is a book distributor? Nobody?
**Bali-mardana:** In New York last month we paid, er, the month before, we paid forty-five thousand dollars into the book fund in one month. It's a new record.

**Translation:** "The earthly deity in the form of a cow thus replied to the personality of religious principles in the form of a bull: O Dharma, whatever you have inquired from me shall be known to you. I shall try to reply to all those questions. Once you, too, were maintained by your four legs and increased happiness all over the universe by the mercy of the Lord."
**Prabhupāda:** *Bhavān hi veda tat sarvaṁ yan māṁ dharmānup ṛcchasi.* So Dharmarāja, or Yamarāja, he is one of the twelve authorized persons for maintaining properly the human civilization. The principle is *dharma. Dharma* means not a religious sentiment. *Dharma* means occupational duty. Everyone has got some occupational duty. So *dharmaṁ hi sākṣād bhagavat-praṇītam* [[sb/6/3/19|[SB. 6.3.19] ]].

"The characteristics of the functions of earth can be perceived by modeling forms of the Supreme Brahman, by constructing places of residence, by preparing pots to contain water, etc. In other words, the earth is the place of the sustenance for all elements."
**Prabhupāda:** > bhāvanaṁ brahmaṇaḥ sthānaṁ > dhāraṇaṁ sad-viśeṣaṇam > sarva-sattva-guṇodbhedaḥ > pṛthivī-vṛtti-lakṣaṇam > [[sb/3/26/46|[SB. 3.26.46] ]]
So, *brahmaṇaḥ sthānam.* This temple is *brahmaṇaḥ sthānam,* the residential place for the Supreme Personality of Godhead, *brahmaṇaḥ. Brahmaṇaḥ* means the Absolute Truth. Absolute Truth is understood in three different features: *brahmeti paramātmeti bhagavān iti śabdyate* [[sb/1/2/11|[SB. 1.2.11] ]]. So Supreme Brahman means Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, as it was accepted by Arjuna after understanding *Bhagavad-gītā.* He addressed Him, *paraṁ brahma param dhāma pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān* [[bg/10/12|[Bg. 10.12] ]]:

**Prabhupāda:** Still, if you say, "You are *mūḍhā,*" they become angry. Such *mūḍhās,* rascals, they are in the government service. And if you say that "You are *mūḍhās,*" he becomes angry. *Mūrkhāya upadeśo hi prakopāya na śāntaye.* If a *mūḍha* is advised nice instruction, he becomes angry. He does not take it. *Payaḥ-pānaṁ bhujaṅgānāṁ kevalaṁ viṣa-vardhanam:* "If you give milk and banana to a snake, you simply increase his poison." One day he will come: *grrr*. You see? "I have given you milk and you..." "Yes, that is my nature. Yes. You give me milk, and I am prepared to kill you." This is *mūḍhā.* We have to kill this civilization of *mūḍhās.* That is Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. *Paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām* [[bg/4/8|[Bg. 4.8] ]]. Those who are actually human being, you have to give them Kṛṣṇa. And those who are *mūḍhās,* we have to kill them. This is our business. Kill all the *mūḍhās* and give Kṛṣṇa to the sane man. Yes. That will prove that you are really Kṛṣṇa's. We are not nonviolent. We are violent to the *mūḍhās.*
**Prabhupāda:** ...here for some time. You'll like it very much. [break] ...you all that in this center very nice foodstuff is supplied, and nobody becomes sick. Everyone complain, "I am sick because I am eating too much," or "no eating." Why? No eating or eating too much should be avoided. Simply you eat what will keep your health nice. That is eating. No eating is also not advised, and overeating is also not. *Atyāhāraḥ prayāsaś ca. Yuktāhāra-vihārasya* [[bg/6/17|[Bg. 6.17] ]]. Yuktāhāra,* not *atyāhāra. Yukta.* Where is this Śāstrī? He's sleeping?
**Prabhupāda:** ...possible for us to challenge the whole world, that "You are all fools." Huh? Is it possible?
