# SB 9.7.13 ## Text > paśor nipatitā dantā > yajasvety āha so 'bravīt > yadā paśoḥ punar dantā > jāyante 'tha paśuḥ śuciḥ ## Synonyms *paśoḥ*—of the animal; *nipatitāḥ*—have fallen out; *dantāḥ*—the teeth; *yajasva*—now sacrifice him; *iti*—thus; *āha*—said (Varuṇa); *saḥ*—he, Hariścandra; *abravīt*—replied; *yadā*—when; *paśoḥ*—of the animal; *punaḥ*—again; *dantāḥ*—the teeth; *jāyante*—grow; *atha*—then; *paśuḥ*—the animal; *śuciḥ*—is purified for being sacrificed. ## Translation **When the teeth had fallen out, Varuṇa returned and said to Hariścandra, "Now the animal's teeth have fallen out, and you can perform the sacrifice." But Hariścandra replied, "When the animal's teeth grow in again, then he will be pure enough to be sacrificed."**
