# SB 9.18.36 > शुक्रस्तमाह कुपितः स्त्रीकामानृतपूरुष > त्वां जरा विशतां मन्द विरूपकरणी नृणाम ॥३६॥ ## Text > śukras tam āha kupitaḥ > strī-kāmānṛta-pūruṣa > tvāṁ jarā viśatāṁ manda > virūpa-karaṇī nṛṇām ## Synonyms *śukraḥ*—Śukrācārya; *tam*—unto him (King Yayāti); *āha*—said; *kupitaḥ*—being very angry at him; *strī-kāma*—O you who have lusty desires for women; *anṛta-pūruṣa*—O untruthful person; *tvām*—unto you; *jarā*—old age, invalidity; *viśatām*—may enter; *manda*—you fool; *virūpa-karaṇī*—which disfigures; *nṛṇām*—the bodies of human beings. ## Translation **Śukrācārya was extremely angry. "You untruthful fool, lusting after women! You have done a great wrong," he said. "I therefore curse you to be attacked and disfigured by old age and invalidity."**
