# SB 6.14.39 > ताः पर्यतप्यन्नात्मानं गर्हयन्त्योऽभ्यसूयया > आनपत्येन दुःखेन राज्ञअश्चानादरेण च ॥३९॥ ## Text > tāḥ paryatapyann ātmānaṁ > garhayantyo 'bhyasūyayā > ānapatyena duḥkhena > rājñaś cānādareṇa ca ## Synonyms *tāḥ*—they (the queens who did not have sons); *paryatapyan*—lamented; *ātmānam*—themselves; *garhayantyaḥ*—condemning; *abhyasūyayā*—out of envy; *ānapatyena*—due to being without sons; *duḥkhena*—by unhappiness; *rājñaḥ*—of the King; *ca*—also; *anādareṇa*—due to negligence; *ca*—also. ## Translation **The other queens were extremely unhappy due to their being sonless. Because of the King's negligence toward them, they condemned themselves in envy and lamented.**
