# Prabhupada's Mission *On the purpose and destiny of the Krsna consciousness movement* --- ### I Don't Adulterate > So, so many people, sometimes they come forward to give me some credit that I have done very wonderful thing. So I reply that "I do not know how to do something wonderful. I cannot manufacture gold. I cannot show any jugglery. But if there is any credit, then the only credit is I don't adulterate. That's all. The pure milk, I don't show my expert service by adding water in it. That I do not do. We give the God's name, Krsna; God's address also, Vrndavana; God's father's name, mother's name. So why... Where is the difficulty to find out God? But they will not accept. They will not accept. *Mudha.* They have been described as *mudha.* So this morning these press reporters asking me, "What is the purpose of your movement?" So I said, "To educate the *mudhas,* that's all." It is the first time, that we are giving the real idea of life. Otherwise whole world is in darkness. *Na te viduh svartha-gatim.* They do not know what is the end of life... *Srimad-Bhagavatam,* Vyasadeva's real contribution... *Ajanatah, lokasyajanato vidvams cakre satvata-samhitam.* He has given the right direction. And they are not taking advantage of it. If they come to sense some day, they'll read all these books, and they will come to know how to live life. Either you are at home or outside home, it doesn't matter—you become a *guru,* everyone. "How shall I become *guru?* I have no qualification." Caitanya Mahaprabhu said, "You don't require any qualification. You simply require one qualification: that you repeat the instruction of *Bhagavad-gita.* That's all." *Yare dekha tare kaha krsna-upadesa*. That's all. You become a *guru.* Don't adulterate *krsna-upadesa* like a rascal or nonsense. Present it as it is, *Bhagavad-gita.* Then you become a *guru.* You can become a *guru* in your family. You can *guru* your society, your nation, wherever you are. And if it is possible, you go outside and preach this mission of *Bhagavad-gita.* Therefore our movement's name is Krsna consciousness. Do it seriously. Then everything will be all right. They are defying the existence of God and reading *Bhagavad-gita.* This is the position. And if I go to the details, it may not be very palatable. But big, big leaders say like that. We have got everything in India, and to become God conscious, to establish the Lord's kingdom, not at all difficult. But we manufacture our own ideas. But we want that *rama-rajya,* but without Rama. How *rama-rajya* will be there? So those who are leaders of the society, if they take seriously, India can be an ideal state. And you can make an., set example to the whole world. The whole world will be happy. But we must be very serious about it. So we have to do it very carefully. It is *para-upakara.* So always remember this fact, that they are... The whole world is being controlled by *asuram bhavam asritah,* atheist class of men, and people are suffering everywhere. But Krsna also descends when such condition prevailing. *Yada yada hi dharmasya glanir bhavati.* So now Krsna has descended in His name, *nama-rupe krsna-avatara.* So try to do some good to the society. Take one of our books. We have given not only one *Bhagavad-gita...* means universe. Anyone can take part in the Krsna... illiterate, literate, rich, poor—anyone. But if anyone is proud of his education, let him come and study our books, understand this philosophy, and I'm sure he'll find satisfying. Don't take it as something sentimental, religious. No. It is a scientific, educational movement. So for annihilating, it requires weapon, *sankha, cakra, gada, padma.* Lord Ramacandra has got bows and arrows, and Krsna has got Sudarsana-cakra. But here it is said, *sanga-upanga-astra.* What is that *astra,* weapon? Caitanya Mahaprabhu has no *astra.* Seemingly there's a... But this is *astra,* this *hari-sankirtana.* This is *astra.* In the Kali-yuga there is no profit by killing them. They're already killed.
