# Kṛṣṇa Accepts Intimate Service
*On God accepting love without awe*

### Kṛṣṇa Likes to Be Treated as Insignificant
> So this philosophy, Gauḍīya-Vaiṣṇava philosophy, is very sublime, to accept God as subordinate. Kṛṣṇa says in *Caitanya-caritāmṛta,* you will find, that "Everyone worships Me with awe and veneration. But if anyone worships Me without any awe, veneration, and treats Me as insignificant, I like that." [laughter] "I like that." So that exchange of Kṛṣṇa's feelings you can find in this Gauḍīya-Vaiṣṇava philosophy, that Mother Yaśodā is treating Kṛṣṇa as very insignificant. "He is my child. If I don't give Him protection, He will die." Therefore Kṛṣṇa is very much obliged to Mother Yaśodā. Yes. But nobody. Everyone comes to God, "Oh, God is so exalted and." That He is hearing throughout. But when the Mother Yaśodā comes and chastises Him, He likes it very much. Yes, yes, likes it very much.

### Kuntī Sees Kṛṣṇa as He Is
> Therefore in the previous verse she said, *alakṣyaṁ sarva-bhūtānām antar bahir avasthitam.*: "You are not seen by ordinary men, although You are inside and outside." In another verse also, *na lakṣyase mūḍha-dṛśā.*: "Fools and rascals cannot see You." That means Kuntī sees Him. Unless she sees Kṛṣṇa as He is, how she can say, *mūḍha-dṛśā na lakṣyase?* And [s]he says, *prakṛteḥ param:* "You are transcendental to this material creation."

### Preṣṭhālībhiḥ Sevyamānau
> So this description of Vṛndāvana is spiritually described; therefore in the beginning the word is used, *dīvyad. Dīvyad* means divine. Kṛṣṇa says, *janma karma ca me divyam*. This is not ordinary material thing. So desire tree also described in the *Brahma-saṁhitā: cintāmaṇi-prakara-sadmasu kalpa-vṛkṣa* [Bs. 5.29]—the same *kalpa-vṛkṣa—lakṣāvṛteṣu surabhīr abhipālayantam, lakṣmī-sahasra-śata-sambhrama-sevyamānam.* This *lakṣmī-sahasra-śata-sevyamānam* is described here as *preṣṭhālībhiḥ sevyamānau. Preṣṭha-alībhiḥ. Preṣṭha* means very dear, and *alī* means *gopīs,* associates of Rādhārāṇī, friends. So they are all Lakṣmīs, goddess of fortune. Lakṣmī. You have heard the name Lakṣmī, Lakṣmī-Nārāyaṇa, associates of Nārāyaṇa. Kṛṣṇa is Nārāyaṇa. So all these *gopīs,* they are expansion of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, the original Lakṣmī.

### Bhakti Is the Only Platform
> So *bhakti* is the only platform which is *nirguṇa,* and from that platform you can please the Supreme Lord. Here it is clearly said, *prahrādaṁ praṇataṁ prīto.* You cannot satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead from the material platform of *rajo-guṇa, tamo-guṇa, sattva-guṇa.* That is not possible. You have to come to the platform of *bhakti. Bhaktyā mām.* And who can come to the platform of *bhakti?* Only a *bhakta.* Not the others, namely *karmī, jñānī, yogī.* No. They cannot. It is not possible. Therefore it clearly says here, *bhaktyā bhaktena.* The same thing is confirmed in the *Bhagavad-gītā.* Kṛṣṇa says, *bhaktyā mām abhijānāti yāvān yaś cāsmi tattvataḥ*.

### Feel Humble Before Kṛṣṇa
> .any language, you should submit, and you should feel that, that "I am worthless. My Guru Mahārāja has given this chance to serve Kṛṣṇa, to offer Kṛṣṇa. My Lord, I am worthless. I have no capacity to serve You. But on the order of my Guru Mahārāja, I am trying to serve You. Please do not take any offense. Accept whatever I can do. That's all. That is my request." That *mantra* is sufficient. Kṛṣṇa says in the *Bhagavad-gītā, yo me bhaktyā prayacchati*. Kṛṣṇa never said that "One who offers Me with Sanskrit *mantra.*" *Yo me bhaktyā prayacchati.* Real thing is *bhakti,* feeling: "How to serve Kṛṣṇa? How to please Him?" That is wanted. Not to see that you are a very good scholar in speaking in Sanskrit or English or. That is not. Always feel that "I am worthless, but I have been, by the grace of my Guru Mahārāja, I have been given the chance. So kindly accept whatever little service I can give. I am offensive. So kindly excuse me." In this way be humble, meek, and offer your feeling, and Kṛṣṇa will be satisfied. Not that you have to show how you can speak in Sanskrit language.
