Madhya 9.120 ## Text > prabhu kahe,—doṣa nāhi, ihā āmi jāni > rāsa nā pāila lakṣmī, śāstre ihā śuni ## Synonyms *prabhukahe*—the Lord replied; *doṣa* *nāhi*—there is no fault; *ihā* *āmi* *jāni*—this I know; *rāsa* *nā* *pāila* *lakṣmī*—Lakṣmī, the goddess of fortune, could not join the *rāsa* dance; *śāstre* *ihā* *śuni*—we get this information from revealed scriptures. ## Translation **Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu replied, "I know that there is no fault on the part of the goddess of fortune, but still she could not enter into the rāsa dance. We hear this from revealed scriptures.**
