Madhya 5.95 ## Text > kṛṣṇa kahe,—"pratimā cale, kothāha nā śuni" > vipra bale,—"pratimā hañā kaha kene vāṇī ## Synonyms *kṛṣṇa* *kahe*—Lord Kṛṣṇa says; *pratimā* *cale*—a Deity walks; *kothāha*—anywhere; *nā* *śuni*—I have not heard; *vipra* *bale*—the young *brāhmaṇa* replies; *pratimā* *hañā*—in Your Deity form; *kaha* *kene* *vāṇī*—how do You speak words. ## Translation **Lord Kṛṣṇa said, "I've never heard of a Deity's walking from one place to another." The brāhmaṇa replied, "That is true, but how is it that You are speaking to me, although You are a Deity?**
