Madhya 5.95 > কৃষ্ণ কহে, — “প্রতিমা চলে, কোথাহ না শুনি ।” > বিপ্র বলে, — “প্রতিমা হঞা কহ কেনে বাণী ॥৯৫॥ ## Text > kṛṣṇa kahe,—"pratimā cale, kothāha nā śuni" > vipra bale,—"pratimā hañā kaha kene vāṇī ## Synonyms *kṛṣṇa kahe*—Lord Kṛṣṇa says; *pratimā cale*—a Deity walks; *kothāha*—anywhere; *nā śuni*—I have not heard; *vipra bale*—the young *brāhmaṇa* replies; *pratimā hañā*—in Your Deity form; *kaha kene vāṇī*—how do You speak words. ## Translation **Lord Kṛṣṇa said, "I've never heard of a Deity's walking from one place to another." The brāhmaṇa replied, "That is true, but how is it that You are speaking to me, although You are a Deity?**
