Madhya 4.148 > যদ্যপি উদ্বেগ হৈল পলাইতে মন । > ঠাকুরের চন্দন-সাধন হইল বন্ধন ॥১৪৮॥ ## Text > yadyapi udvega haila palāite mana > ṭhākurera candana-sādhana ha-ila bandhana ## Synonyms *yadyapi*—although; *udvega*—anxiety; *haila*—there was; *palāite*—to go away; *mana*—the mind; *ṭhākurera*—of the Lord; *candana*—of the sandalwood; *sādhana*—the collecting; *ha-ila*—there was; *bandhana*—bondage. ## Translation **Mādhavendra Purī wanted to leave Jagannātha Purī because the people were honoring him as a great devotee; however, this threatened to hinder his collecting sandalwood for the Gopāla Deity.**
