Madhya 3.29 ## Text > eta bali' namaskari' kaila gaṅgā-snāna > eka kaupīna, nāhi dvitīya paridhāna ## Synonyms *etabali'*—saying this; *namaskari'*—offering obeisances; *kaila*—did; *gaṅgā*-*snāna*—bathing in the Ganges; *eka* *kaupīna*—only one piece of underwear; *nāhi*—there was not; *dvitīya*—second; *paridhāna*—garment. ## Translation **After reciting this mantra, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu offered obeisances and took His bath in the Ganges. At that time He had on only one piece of underwear, for there was no second garment.**
