> naukāte kālīya-jñāna, dīpe ratna-jñāne!
> jāliyāre mūḍha-loka 'kṛṣṇa' kari' māne!
## Synonyms
*naukāte*—on the boat; *kālīya*-*jñāna*—knowledge as the Kālīya snake; *dīpe*—on the torch; *ratna*-*jñāne*—consideration as jewels; *jāliyāre*—the fisherman; *mūḍha*-*loka*—foolish men; *kṛṣṇa* *kari'* *māne*—accept as Kṛṣṇa.
## Translation
**"These fools think that the boat is the Kālīya serpent and the torchlight the jewels on his hoods. People also mistake the fisherman to be Kṛṣṇa.**
