Madhya 16.173 ## Text > bahuta utkaṇṭhā tāṅra, karyāche vinaya > tomā-sane ei sandhi, nāhi yuddha-bhaya' ## Synonyms *bahuta*—very much; *utkaṇṭhā*—anxiety; *tāṅra*—his; *karyāche*—has made; *vinaya*—submissive petition; *tomā*-*sane*—with you; *ei*—this; *sandhi*—a peace proposal; *nāhi*—there is not; *yuddha*-*bhaya*—fear of fighting. ## Translation **"The Mohammedan governor is very eager, and he has submitted this petition with great respect. It is a proposal for peace. You need not fear that we will fight."**
