Madhya 14.49 ## Text > mahā-malla-gaṇe dila ratha cālāite > āpane lāgilā ratha, nā pāre ṭānite ## Synonyms *mahā*-*malla*-*gaṇe*—unto the big wrestlers; *dila*—gave; *ratha*—the car; *cālāite*—to pull out; *āpane*—personally; *lāgilā*—engaged; *ratha*—the car; *nā* *pāre* *ṭānite*—could not move. ## Translation **The King then arranged for big wrestlers to try to pull the car, and even the King himself joined in, but the car could not be moved.**
