Antya 9.42 ## Text > śuni' prabhura gaṇa prabhure kare anunaya > prabhu kahe,—"āmi bhikṣuka, āmā haite kichu naya ## Synonyms *śuni'*—hearing; *prabhura* *gaṇa*—the devotees of the Lord; *prabhure* *kare* *anunaya*—entreated the Lord; *prabhu* *kahe*—Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said; *āmi* *bhikṣuka*—I am a beggar; *āmā* *haite* *kichu* *naya*—it is not possible for Me to do anything. ## Translation **Hearing this news, all the devotees again appealed to the Lord, but the Lord replied, "I am a beggar. It is impossible for Me to do anything about this.**
