Antya 4.40 > ‘রঘুনাথের পাদপদ্মে বেচিয়াছোঁ মাথা । কাড়িতে না পারোঁ মাথা, পাঙ বড় ব্যথা ॥৪০॥ ## Text > 'raghunāthera pāda-padme veciyāchoṅ māthā > kāḍite nā pāroṅ māthā, pāṅa baḍa vyathā ## Synonyms *raghu-nāthera*—of Lord Rāmacandra; *pāda-padme*—at the lotus feet; *veciyāchoṅmāthā*—I have sold my head; *kāḍite*—to take away; *nā pāroṅ*—I am unable; *māthā*—the head; *pāṅa*—I get; *baḍa vyathā*—too much pain. ## Translation **“ 'I have sold my head at the lotus feet of Lord Rāmacandra. I cannot take it away. That would be too painful for me.**
