Antya 12.138 ## Text > kichu balite nārena prabhu, khāyena tarāse > nā khāile jagadānanda karibe upavāse ## Synonyms *kichu*—anything; *balite* *nārena*—could not say; *prabhu*—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; *khāyena*—eats; *tarāse*—out of fear; *nā* *khāile*—if He did not eat; *jagadānanda*—Jagadānanda Paṇḍita; *karibe* *upavāse*—would fast. ## Translation **Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu dared not forbid him to feed Him more. He just continued eating, fearful that Jagadānanda would fast if He stopped.**
