Ādi 7.136 ## Text > ācārya-kalpita artha,—ihā sabhe jāni > sampradāya-anurodhe tabu tāhā māni ## Synonyms *ācārya*—Śaṅkarācārya; *kalpita*—imaginative; *artha*—meaning; *ihā*—this; *sabhe*—all of us; *jāni*—know; *sampradāya*-*anurodhe*—but for the sake of our party; *tabu*—still; *tāhā*—that; *māni*—we accept. ## Translation **"We know that all this word jugglery springs from the imagination of Śaṅkarārārya, and yet because we belong to his sect, we accept it although it does not satisfy us.**
