Ādi 12.95 > তাহার মাধুর্য-গন্ধে লুব্ধ হয় মন । > অতএব তটে রহি’ চাকি এক কণ ॥৯৫॥ ## Text > tāhāra mādhurya-gandhe lubdha haya mana > ataeva taṭe rahi' cāki eka kaṇa ## Synonyms *tāhāra*—His; *mādhurya*—sweet and mellow; *gandhe*—by the fragrance; *lubdha*—attracted; *haya*—becomes; *mana*—mind; *ataeva*—therefore; *taṭe*—on the beach; *rahi'*—standing; *cāki*—I taste; *eka*—one; *kaṇa*—particle. ## Translation **It is not possible to dip into that great ocean, but its sweet mellow fragrance attracts my mind. I therefore stand on the shore of that ocean to try to taste but a drop of it.**
