subhadro bhadrabāhuś ca
durmado bhadra eva ca
pauravyās tanayā hy ete
bhūtādyā dvādaśābhavan

nandopananda-kṛtaka-
śūrādyā madirātmajāḥ
kauśalyā keśinaṁ tv ekam
asūta kula-nandanam

Synonyms

subhadraḥ—Subhadra; bhadrabāhuḥ—Bhadrabāhu; ca—and; durmadah—Durmada; bhadrah—Bhadra; eva—indeed; ca—also; pauravyāḥ—of the wife named Pauravī; tanayah—sons; hi—indeed; ete—all of them; bhuta-adyah—headed by Bhūta; dvādaśa—twelve; abhavan—were born; nanda-upananda-kṛtaka-sura-adyah—Nanda, Upananda, Kṛtaka, Śūra and others; madira-atmajah—the sons of Madirā; kauśalyā—Kauśalyā; keśinam—a son named Keśī; tu ekam—only one; asūta—gave birth to; kula-nandanam—a son. 

Translation

From the womb of Pauravī came twelve sons, including Bhūta, Subhadra, Bhadrabāhu, Durmada and Bhadra. Nanda, Upananda, Kṛtaka, Śūra and others were born from the womb of Madirā. Bhadrā [Kauśalyā] gave birth to only one son, named Keśī.
