śrī-śuka uvāca
adityaivaṁ stuto rājan
bhagavān puṣkarekṣaṇaḥ
kṣetra-jñaḥ sarva-bhūtānām
iti hovāca bhārata
Synonyms
sri-sukah uvāca—Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; aditya—by Aditi; evam—thus; stutaḥ—being worshiped; rājan—O King (Mahārāja Parīkṣit); bhagavan—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; puṣkara-iksanah—whose eyes are like lotus flowers; kṣetra-jnah—the Supersoul; sarva-bhūtānām—of all living entities; iti—thus; ha—indeed; uvāca—replied; bharata—O best of the Bharata dynasty. ¶
Translation
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: O King Parīkṣit, best of the Bharata dynasty, when the lotus-eyed Lord, the Supersoul of all living entities, was thus worshiped by Aditi, He replied as follows. ¶
