śrī-śuka uvāca
ity ādiśyāmara-gaṇān
prajāpati-patir vibhuḥ
āśvāsya ca mahīṁ gīrbhiḥ
sva-dhāma paramaṁ yayau

Synonyms

sri-sukah uvāca—Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; iti—thus; ādiśya—after informing; amara-gaṇān—all the demigods; prajāpati-patiḥ—Lord Brahmā, the master of the Prajāpatis; vibhuḥ—all-powerful; āśvāsya—after pacifying; ca—also; mahim—mother earth; gīrbhiḥ—by sweet words; sva-dhama—his own planet, known as Brahmaloka; paramam—the best (within the universe); yayau—returned. 

Translation

Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: After thus advising the demigods and pacifying mother earth, the very powerful Lord Brahmā, who is the master of all other Prajāpatis and is therefore known as Prajāpati-pati, returned to his own abode, Brahmaloka.
