eka eka dine cāturmāsya pūrṇa haila
kataka brāhmaṇa bhikṣā dite nā pāila
Synonyms
eka eka dine—day by day; cāturmāsya—the period of Cāturmāsya; purna haila—became filled; kataka brahmana—some of the brāhmaṇas; bhiksa dite—to offer Him lunch; na—did not; paila—get the opportunity. ¶
Translation
Each day the Lord was invited by a different brāhmaṇa, but some of the brāhmaṇas did not get the opportunity to offer Him lunch because the period of Cāturmāsya came to an end. ¶
