prabhu bhikṣā kaila dinera tṛtīya-prahare
nirviṇṇa sei vipra upavāsa kare
Synonyms
prabhu—Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu; bhiksa kaila—took His luncheon; dinera—of the day; trtiya-prahare—at about three o’clock; nirvinna—sorrowful; sei—that; vipra—brāhmaṇa; upavāsa kare—fasted. ¶
Translation
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu took His lunch at about three o’clock, but the brāhmaṇa, being very sorrowful, fasted. ¶
