nārāyaṇera kā kathā, śrī-kṛṣṇa āpane
gopikāre hāsya karāite haya ‘nārāyaṇe’
Synonyms
nārāyaṇera—of Lord Nārāyaṇa; ka kathā—what to speak; sri-krsna—Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa; apane—Himself; gopikāre—the gopīs; hāsya karāite—to make them jubilant; haya—becomes; nārāyaṇe—in the form of Nārāyaṇa. ¶
Translation
“To say nothing of Lord Nārāyaṇa personally, Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself appeared as Nārāyaṇa just to play a joke on the gopīs. ¶
