āmi jīva,—kṣudra-buddhi, sahaje asthira
īśvarera līlā—koṭi-samudra-gambhīra

Synonyms

ami jīva—I am an ordinary living being; kṣudra-buddhi—possessing limited intelligence; sahaje asthira—very easily agitated; isvarera lila—the pastimes of the Lord; koti-samudra—as millions of oceans; gambhira—as deep. 

Translation

Veṅkaṭa Bhaṭṭa then admitted, “I am an ordinary human being. Since my intelligence is very much limited and I am easily agitated, my mind cannot enter within the deep ocean of the pastimes of the Lord.
