āmāra ṭhākura kṛṣṇa—gopa, go-cāraka
sādhvī hañā kene cāhe tāṅhāra saṅgama

Synonyms

amara ṭhākura—My worshipable Deity; krsna—Lord Kṛṣṇa; gopa—cowherd; go-cāraka—a tender of cows; sadhvi hana—being so chaste; kene—why; cāhe—wants; tanhara—His; saṅgama—association. 

Translation

“However, my Lord is Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, a cowherd boy who is engaged in tending cows. Why is it that Lakṣmī, being such a chaste wife, wants to associate with My Lord?
