yadyapi viccheda doṅhāra sahana nā yāya
tathāpi daṇḍavat kari’ calilā rāma-rāya

Synonyms

yadyapi—although; viccheda—separation; doṅhāra—of both of them; sahana—toleration; na—not; yaya—possible; tathāpi—still; daṇḍavat—obeisances; kari—offering; calila—departed; rama-raya—Rāmānanda Rāya. 

Translation

Although neither could tolerate the other’s separation, Rāmānanda Rāya nonetheless offered his obeisances to Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and departed.
