prabhura gamana kūrma-mukhete śuniñā
bhūmite paḍilā duḥkhe mūrcchita hañā
Synonyms
prabhura—of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; gamana—the going; kūrma-mukhete—from the mouth of the brāhmaṇa Kūrma; śuniñā—hearing; bhūmite—on the ground; padila—fell down; duḥkhe—in great distress; murcchita—unconsciousness; hana—becoming. ¶
Translation
When the leper Vāsudeva came to Kūrma’s house to see Caitanya Mahāprabhu, he was informed that the Lord had already left. The leper then fell to the ground unconscious. ¶
