śacī-āge paḍilā prabhu daṇḍavat hañā
kāndite lāgilā śacī kole uṭhāiñā
Synonyms
saci-āge—in front of mother Śacī; padila—fell down; prabhu—the Lord; danda-vat—like a stick; hana—becoming; kandite—to cry; lagila—began; saci—mother Śacī; kole—on the lap; uṭhāiñā—taking. ¶
Translation
As soon as mother Śacī appeared on the scene, Caitanya Mahāprabhu fell before her like a stick. Mother Śacī began to cry, taking the Lord on her lap. ¶
