‘pātañjala’ kahe,-‘īśvara haya svarūpa-jñāna’
veda-mate kahe tāṅre ‘svayaṁ-bhagavān’
Synonyms
pātañjala kahe—the Pātañjala philosophers say; īśvara haya—the Supreme Lord is; svarupa-jñāna—self-realization; veda-mate—in the Vedic version; kahe—they say; tāṅre—to Him; svayam-bhagavan—the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ¶
Translation
“The Pātañjala philosophers say that when one is self-realized, he understands the Lord. Similarly, according to the Vedas and Vedic principles, the original cause is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ¶
