yathā-sthāne nārada gelā, vyādha ghare āila
nāradera upadeśe sakala karila
Synonyms
yathā-sthane—to the proper destination; nārada—sage Nārada; gela—went; vyādha—the hunter; ghare aila—came back to his house; nāradera upadeśe—under the instruction of the sage Nārada; sakala karila—he executed everything. ¶
Translation
“After all this, Nārada Muni went to his destination. After the hunter returned home, he exactly followed the instructions of his spiritual master, Nārada. ¶
Purport
For spiritual advancement one must have a bona fide spiritual master and follow his instructions in order to be assured of advancement. ¶
