mathurā-nikaṭe āilā—mathurā dekhiyā
daṇḍavat hañā paḍe premāviṣṭa hañā
Synonyms
mathura-nikaṭe—near Mathurā; aila—came; mathura dekhiyā—seeing the city of Mathurā; daṇḍavat hana—offering obeisances; pade—falls down; prema-āviṣṭa hana—in the great ecstasy of love. ¶
Translation
When He approached Mathurā and saw the city, He immediately fell to the ground and offered obeisances with great ecstatic love. ¶
